AoE range, does it change? - Guild Wars Forums

Do Tactics or any other attribute effect the range of AoE spells such as Symbol of Wrath, skills like Cyclone Axe or spells like Rebirth? I especially wish I could increase the range on Rebirth; sometimes it just barely keeps me out of trouble and sometimes it doesn't at all.

I haven't noticed any difference in AoE range on my ranger from level 7ish when I got my first AoE, to level 20. I think it's a fixed circle, and it appears to be somewhat small. It's especially annoying when using AoE smiting prayers spells.

As far as rebirth is considered, I think the range is just outside the circle surrounding you on the little circle on the minimap. I don't think anything effects that either, as it seems it's right around max spell casting range.

to my knowledge aoe range doesnt change...it has a set radius depending on the spell and the only way i ever see that changing is with new expantion offering new upgrades runes and armor...maybe make a suggestion to them about adding something special to a peice of armor that adds aoe radius by set amount ...similar to the boots necros can get to target corpses faster
